Amazing to see that after 48 years, the band performs so well and Robert's voice is still strong.

Simon Gallup is an absolute treasure and the backbone to every great Cure song. They all have epic bass lines that he provided to the world. I have so much respect and admiration for his work, as well as Robert's wonderful guitar playing and his unmatched gift of lyrical poetic beauty. There is no Cure without Simon and Robert. Also, Reeves Gabrels is an absolutely wonderful addition over the last decade or so. A wonderful musician that really made a solid impact on their live sound. Not that past guitarists weren't great, but Reeves really polishes up an already epically polished live band.

You need to see them live to really understand how wide, lush, and "live Cure" they really are. It is an experience I've been fortunate enough to have for every record tour since the Kissing Tour in 88, as well as the USA Curiosa festival they did, and a random 2016 Boston show. Songs of a Lost World is a record tour I am still waiting for here in the USA. It would be unfortunate if that never happens, as it will be the first one I didn't get to see since Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me. Such an inspirational band for 5 decades of future bands.
