⁉In your opinion, who is the best country guitarist in the world, Willie Nelson or Johnny Cash? ⁉

Having lived through 1978 I am quite sure that an audience in Austin Texas would have instantly recognized Johnny Cash.

I can't imagine no one knew Johnny Cash was in the audience....
He's pretty recognizable. He always wore black pants not jeans

For the time being, of the four Highwaymen, only Nelson is still singing and playing the guitar; it’s like his medicine, I feel.

From Greenbrier, TN, a stone's throw from Nashville, this would be a good story if it were true. But it's hard to believe that nobody would have recognized Johnny Cash.
