Your favorite thing about being a Catholic?

I did my First Confession 3 days ago, I enter the Church at Easter Vigil. And there’s nothing more objectively true then “He’s there to save you”. It’s ALL true.

Honestly, the Hallow app is what made me start praying the rosary as a protestant, which then led me to Catholicism. I didn’t know Hallow was catholic when I downloaded it 😂. I try to pray it every day, and praying with an intent has never failed me. That was what changed my faith honestly. So many years of being uncertain, and an answered prayer for my cat changed me.

Amazing priest and human. I’m glad you got him on your podcast. Chaldean Catholics are very faithful, and he is a great representation of our people

For me, Mary is not just a mother in a spiritual sense, she has moved into my life, she advises me, takes care of me in a REAL way. Thank you mama!

It’s a blessing to bring back people to God. I would like to thank all the Catholic channels or apps, who are bringing people back to church and Jesus Christ. Thank you all. God bless us all now and forever. Amen

My goodness I wish someone would help us single ppl become saints. I’ve become Catholic last year and I am older but I strongly believe with all my heart that God wants me to be a saint as much as a young married person. He wants us all to be saints. New single converts need help. I know I do.

2:04:36 I'm a Hungarian from Romania and I can explain! Most Catholics here are either Hungarian or were later converted to Catholic by Hungarians after the schism (in Moldavia, the northeastern part of Romania this is the majority case), so it is mostly in the Latin tradition. It is true that Greek Catholic churches (as how we call the byzantines here) exist that came from agreements of some Eastern Orthodox churches returning into communion, but in the predominantly Catholic places that's not the case because the denomination falls under ethnic lines, and during Communism they recognised the Eastern Orthodox church as a tolerated state church (though they did try to infiltrate that too) and they harshly persecuted the rest, particularly the Greek Catholics suffered the most with churches being reverted to Eastern Orthodox by force or straight up demolished, and only some churches were given back to the Greek Catholics after communism ended. To this day most ethnically Romanian Catholics are in the Latin rite for these reasons. In the city that I live in we have three Catholic novus ordo parishes that keep both Romanian and Hungarian liturgies, the biggest one in the city centre also keeps a liturgy in English if I am not mistaken, but there is only one Greek Catholic church and it's a newly built one! I never was inside, only in the basement for vigils.

This was truly a fascinating interview. I admit I don’t know too much about the Chaldean Church & found this to be a beautiful extension of our Catholic faith. I was also blown away by Fr.’s friend Mary & her amazing talent from God. What a Gift!

We have a priest in Orange County, CA that has restored beauty for God in two of our churches that were built in the 50’s and 70’s and we’re so plain and basically just brick. He brought back beauty to worship in Gods holy place. We can look around and not see the mystery of our Lord in each window, painting, altar etc. you can’t be in these places and not realize that it magnifies something so perfect and glorious.
