  The thing with Chris Brown is that people do care about the assault but he has such a huge fanbase that his fan’s dont care about his past. And it also helps that women sees him as a good looking guy

  Chris Brown still has a career thanks to nostalgia. People can’t let go of that “innocent” 15 year old and not accepting that he’s a grown man who was never “innocent” and it was a fake image his team put out there.

  I&apos;m not sure if you&apos;ve covered this before, but the frontman of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Kiedis, <i>admitted</i> to statutory with a 14-year-old he knew was 14 in his 2004 autobiography (which he names as the inspiration for that Catholic School Girls song...). Not to mention the multiple SA accusations the Aerosmith frontman has.<br>It&apos;s wild how there&apos;s so much dirt on these guys, but they&apos;re still beloved and played on the radio.

  Even though he wasn&apos;t on this list Marvin Gaye impregnated his teenage niece so that him and his first wife could have a baby &amp; he dated his 2nd wife when she was 17 and Marvin was in his mid 30&apos;s.

  Ok the thing about bowie that you mention. I think the general consensus with the thin white duke era is that: yeah it was an unbelievably fucked up period in his life. I think he realized how horribly fucked up he was and left to get sober with iggy pop releasing some of his best works. He also wrote It&apos;s No Game in 1980 as a rebuke of his fascistic statements in 1976 so it&apos;s always been chalked down to &quot;he was just so fucked up on cocaine at the time&quot;

  Videos that explain the bad actions of popular artists are the types that need to pull absolutely no punches. If you want to separate the art from the artist, fine, but you should know EXACTLY what you are separating it from.
