I always assumed the skin was a reference to them being descendants of occults like in Dragon Valley.

I would say that the green forest people once resided in the town. However, as the wealthy came in, developing the town into a resort, the locals were pushed out into the forest, whilst the wealthy visitors took over the town. I think it’s a great commentary on gentrification and how communities are being pushed out of their homes as a result of overdevelopment and overconsumption

Don’t know what are the odds you will see it but…This channel is literally my safe space and favorite…ps. I have so much anxiety and some ptsd and whenever I feel anything negative or just need to feel comfortable I literally just pull one of your videos (some I watched more then three times bruh) and your way of talking and presenting information with such effort yet somewhat calm enthusiasm and interest has a way to calm and relax. Thank you really the only thing I wish for is if had more videos of yours to binge haha 🤌🏻🤌🏻😊

Sounds like the fires were actually arson. It's perfect strategy to drive out the original locals.

It's interesting to me that Renauld Vanderburg is Sebastian and Francisica's step-father and not their biological father. What happened to Catarina's (seemingly) first husband? He's not mentioned at all. Do Sebastian and Francisca know he's not their father? Very interesting indeed.
