The nightmares may be Michael reliving his guilt over his brother's death, or even experiencing remnant/paranormal influence tied to BV's memory.Stomach Mouth Visuals: Nightmare Fredbear's giant abdominal mouth remains an incredibly distinct visual motif. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvce47e2yU0&t=25">0:25</a> MCI85 is compelling in the games continuity too since Fnaf 3 year isn’t confirmed to be in 2023 and is debated to be in 2015, the year it came out. Multiple external sources of Fnaf reinforces the MCI as the pivotal event when bringing up 30 years.

I firmly believe in Elizabeth being the first victim. Here is why:<br>In FNaF 4, to the right of BV's bedroom is a girl's room. However, a sister is never seen or mentioned in the story, even at BV's birthday party. This has led some to believe that Elizabeth Afton was already dead by the time BV died. (See ElizaRoom)<br>In Sister Location, the line, "All I see is an empty room / No more joy, an empty tomb," could be referencing Elizabeth's empty room in FNaF 4 after her death.<br>Under NovelClues, the Novel Trilogy implies Elizabeth died before the MCI.<br>It is possible that BV witnessed Elizabeth's death, which may be why is he so afraid of the animatronics. (See WitnessElizabeth)<br>Fredbear plush's line "Don't you remember what you saw?" would be referring to Elizabeth's death. BV would be afraid of going near the animatronics because when his sister got close to Circus Baby, she was killed.<br>Nightmare Fredbear has a giant mouth in his stomach. Under BVDreamer, this could be influenced by BV seeing Baby's stomach open up to grab Elizabeth.<br>It's possible Elizabeth's death is what caused Michael Afton to become the way he was during FNAF 4, as he may have felt immense guilt or grief over failing to protect his younger sister, driving him to lash out and bully his younger brother (the Crying Child) as a coping mechanism.<br>Alternatively, the trauma and tension within the Afton family following her disappearance could have created a deeply hostile home environment, fueling Michael's reckless and cruel behavior during the events leading up to the Bite of '83.<br>In the Survival Logbook, we see Circus Baby on page 82, right before Bonnie on page 83. And Bonnie on that page strikes a very similar pose to Bonnie from Fredbear & Friends TV Show that aired in universe in 1983. Since the page 83 references an something in 1983, then Circus Baby being on page 82 could show that Circus Baby was made in 1982, showcasing Elizabeth's death in 1982, one year before the Bite of 83. (See Eliza82)<br>It is revealed in Secret of the Mimic that advanced technology—including automated endoskeletons and scooper-like extraction mechanisms—was already fully developed under Edwin Murray by 1979, suggesting William Afton had immediate access to existing tech to found Afton Robotics and deploy the Funtime Animatronics prior to 1983, as he would have taken advantage of that type of technology much sooner.<br>In the second FNAF movie, in one of her dreams, Vanessa is a kid again and sees parts of her childhood, one of the things she sees is a fully built Circus Baby. In the scene, she appears to be a similar age as in the 1982 flashback, making it seem that in the movie universe Circus Baby existed at least since the early 1980s.<br>Furthermore, Circus Baby was depicted with green eyes, showing that Elizabeth (or someone/something else) had been possessing it beforehand.<br>It could be possible that the Funtimes were built prior to 1983, but Circus Baby's Pizza World was not repurposed into CBEaR until several years later, after the MCI, when it would have greater opportunity for competition. However, it still begs the question as to why Afton would create Circus Baby to kidnap children prior to any of the games' major events. Though, it's also possible that the Funtimes were originally supposed to be kidnappers meant to test with the fear of children.<br>Though there is no definitive motive for Afton's killings in general, it is more likely that he started by killing the "traditional" way and only created killer robots after witnessing how the murders affected the animatronics' behavior. Still, this is only speculation.<br>This wouldn't be an issue under WillHeartless or OrchestraBeth.<br>It's possible that Charlotte dying first in the novels can actually support ElizaFirst by showing that Scott Cawthon intentionally flipped key character death orders to differentiate the book continuity from the games, meaning if Charlotte's murder is the inciting incident that drives William Afton's descent into madness in the novel universe, Elizabeth's early death serves that exact same narrative catalyst role in the game universe.<br>In the novel trilogy, Charlotte dies first in 1983, which triggers Henry's grief and prompts William to begin his obsession with remnant and recreating life. However, the novels completely omit the Crying Child and Michael Afton. In the games, where the Afton family is central to the narrative, Elizabeth dying first provides the functional equivalent: her sudden death via Circus Baby creates the empty bedroom seen in FNaF 4, traumatizes the Crying Child into fearing the animatronics, and fractures the Afton household prior to the Bite of '83.<br>By establishing a pattern where the novel series swapped who died first—using Charlie as the initial tragedy to kick off Henry's story, while the games use Elizabeth to kick off William's—the novel continuity's deliberate alterations highlight that Charlie does not have to be the first victim in every universe for the story's emotional domino effect to work.<br>This is not an issue under CharlieBeth, where the storylines of Charlie and Elizabeth reflect each other, including their circumstances of death.<br>It's also possible Elizabeth's death was a factor in Bite Victim's fears and that there are other reasons why he is afraid of the animatronics.<br>Baby herself says that after she captured Elizabeth, children ran into the room. BV could have been there and understood what happened.<br>It's possible that Bite Victm's fear of the animatronics only stems from the incident involving his sister's death and the animatronics he truly fears are Fredbear and the Classic Animatronics.<br>However, the meaning of this could be about another Funtime animatronic or BV suffering the same fate as his sister, just not by accident or by a female.<br>However, this theory typically proposes that witnessing Elizabeth's death made CC believe all animatronics are dangerous in general, making this a moot point.
