  I am a Gibson guy through-and-through I own a Les Paul and an Explorer bought mid 90s. About 5 years ago I bought a telecaster just to have other options for recording. I haven&apos;t put it down I play it all the time it&apos;s my number one.

  <b>Jimmy Bryant!</b><br><br>He could match almost any other picker note for note, while also dealing with a nasty case of post-WWII PTSD &amp; alcoholism, always just playing whichever Tele that Leo gave him when he lost the last one. That guy was abrasive but his talent was monumental

  Other influential players are Wilco Johnson,Mick Green,Hugh Cornwell, Lynval Golding and Daniel Ash.I tried out many different models of guitars,I have a Stratocaster too,but when I jam at home, after a while I put it back and return to my Telecaster.I love the Strat but the Tele has this special vibe.

  Thanks for making this video, Warren! I am a Telecaster nut. &nbsp;I worked at a shop that made aftermarket hardware for Stratocasters and Telecasters and custom builds. I now make pickups as well. &nbsp;The Telecaster never ceases to amaze me. &nbsp;You can use it to play jazz, rock, blues, punk(of course country)... it just does it all.

  What a fantastic video! Thank you Warren, it was wonderful revisiting all those players I love and follow. It&apos;s great you got to jam with Jeff Beck and play his Tele. &nbsp; I had the honor of playing a Nocaster that my songwriting partner inherited from his father who bought it new. &nbsp;It was lots of fun. &nbsp;for the last 15 years my go to guitar is a G&amp;L tele (custom made for NAMM 2005 I think). &nbsp;It can do so many things. &nbsp;Thanks again.

  My Parents got me a Sunburst Fender Telecaster for Christmas 43 years ago. They definitely have a distinctive &quot;thick&quot; tone. A few years ago, I purchased a Schecter PT with their Humbuckers. And that pickup definitely gives it the intended LesPaul Sound, that PT was going for at the time.
