It's always been crazy to me that John says Paul didn't sing "Oh! Darling" that well. To me, that's one of Paul's greatest vocal performances. I get what John was saying. He was usually the one who sang the heavier rock songs, but Paul is an incredibly versatile vocalist. And he absolutely crushed it. That song still gives me chills when I blast it loud on a good stereo.

I say this as a huge fan of John’s voice. He’s my fav Beatle voice. There’s no way John could have sung Oh! Darling without a lowered key.

That was an incredible job you did with this documentary. i can't believe I listened to the whole 3 and a half hours without interruption. let's face it.There's no band in history that will ever match up to the beatles.

Paul’s bass playing on ‘Something’ is some of the best. To the extent that it ‘makes’ the song. Not sure how it was before George gave him directions :)

As we all know now, John was spot on regarding the building of "I Want You" with the white noise, etc, then cutting the tape. I'll never forget the first time I heard that song. It shocked the daylights out of me.

My brother and myself where in our basement family room, listening to Lennons I want you. When our mother opened the door exactly as it abruptly ended. She said "Did I do that?" Just a fond memory.
