  I remember watching Dave &amp; Charlie say jokes in Washington Square Park back in the 90&apos;s, I thought they were homeless dudes, but years to come when Dave blew up, I said to my boy, &quot;that&apos;s the guy we used to see in the park&quot;. That was crazy. <br>MAAD rappers would be in the village, I met Jeru and Afu-Ra, selling &nbsp;black &quot;conscious&quot; books on 6th Ave. near 8th St. Those were good times.

  Criminally underrated artist right here. I mean Dres and Sheep get their props from real heads, but dude honestly belongs in the GOAT conversation with like Nas, Rakim, Kendrick and Jay. If we&apos;re picking 4 MC&apos;s for a HipHop Rushmore, he gets my vote all day.

  I was at Howard Park in Rahway, NJ playing basketball the day when OPP video was shot that at that blue Pyramid motel...that was on the corner of Lawrence Street and Route 1 &amp; 9 in Rahway before the re-routed the highway because that was a very dangerous corner for pedestrians standing at the corner to across over to the other side towards Rahway DMV and the prison!!! I think it is a Motel 8 now (tannish color building)...right before you go over the bridge and the incineration on the other side (depending on what direction you travelling)! I actually lived with my aunt like two 4-family department houses next to the motel...same side of the street...the car dealership (Hyundai) was right across the street from me!

  Totally different jams OPP dropped in July and blew the hell up to the point where MTV had it in regular rotation throughout the day. &nbsp;No Black Sheep jam ever did that but Dres was dope as hell!

  I heard flavor of the month on f.d.r and it was like 2 am and I cant remember what station it &nbsp;was playing for it wasn&apos;t 97...but I do remember like at the time at that 1 night that was the best hip hop song that day. I mean back then shit was hitting monthly damn near weekly...but it was what they call today FIRE!!!! Like no other but underground was smoking back then😊
