  My favorite Bond theory is that MI5 knows he&apos;s a terrible spy and they send him out to be a huge distraction while they do whatever real work needs to be done.

  I like how Daniel Craig&apos;s version of the movie never presents his womanising as something fine or to strive for, they actively acknowledge that he&apos;s a very fucked up person to go for this lifestyle. And the fun thing is, that acknowledgement makes that aspect of him way more interesting.

  I always liked the theory that Bond is basically the flashy magician&apos;s assistant for MI6. He&apos;s sent into a scenario to draw all the attention to himself, and that allows the actual spies in the background to work all the subterfuge for whatever goal they&apos;re working towards. Because while he&apos;s an excellent field agent, no one in their right mind would ever really send him on a purely stealth/covert mission at this point in his career.

  The clip of Jonathan photoshoped to be kissing Bond is far less disturbing than most real early bond kiss scenes.

  As someone who briefly went through a “casual” relationship in which I was not told it was “casual” I can confirm it hurts and is a bit cruel. Misleading someone so you can get into their bed is a very frontass thing to do. Glad you guys commented on this in the video

  “She’s supposed to be virtuous, she’s not supposed to like sex so she pushes him off until he overcomes her resistance.” LITERAL DEFINITION OF HOW I WAS TAUGHT TO VIEW SEX GROWING UP IN THE PEOPLE OF PRAISE! There was NEVER any conversation about consent, only about “sin”. Rape was only wrong because it was sex outside of marriage.
