As a psychologist and professor whose expertise is in developmental and social psychology, thank you for this video!! I Earlier this semester, I made the toxic sibling dynamic with the Roy children (with a narcissistic , manipulative, and neglectful parent who delights in triangulating his children) as a media example to teach my students about attachment theory. I immediately subscribed!

What I took from the whole series is that money is ultimately meaningless if the people who surround you aren’t human. Every main character in the series is rich beyond meaning with a quality of life and power that none of us will ever see for ourselves, and yet they’re all so broken and miserable that it might as well not even matter. Nobody can ever truly open up to eachother without the risk of being punished for it. Logan gave his children every advantage and desire met without a single moment of actual love, and they’re all irreparably broken without it.

5:45 the video footage is from s3e8, chiantishire, where kendall & logan are alone at the table (except when iverson briefly pops in). logan accuses kendall of fucking the drowned waiter in england then asks if it was just the drugs. kendall’s face doesn’t reflect him interpreting an offhand comment from logan.

I was rooting for him to win. My views are quite shallow, though.
