Hanthana | Sri Lanka | Vlog 03

950 Hearts, One Journey Some trips aren’t just about the destination...they’re about the people, the laughter, the challenges, and the unforgettable moments in between. Welcome to Vlog 03, where over 950 students from the SLIIT Faculty of Computing came together for one remarkable journey to the iconic Hanthana Mountain Range. Located near Kandy, the Hanthana Mountain Range rises to an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters and stretches across 3,700 hectares of protected forest. Known for its cool climate, mist-covered peaks, and incredible biodiversity, Hanthana is a dream for hikers, nature lovers, and explorers alike. Among the crowd, I hiked with a group of close friends who made every step more meaningful..Adithya Aiya, Chathil, Yasan, Enuri, Manishi, and myself (Jaith). Together, we shared laughter, stories, snacks, and those silent moments that only mountains can bring.
