  It amazes me how Vince was able to escape any sort of punishment/ repercussions after Owen hart died during a pay-per-view, AND STILL CONTINUED THE SHOW

  God. The section about Owen Hart brought me to tears. I watched it live as a kid and I cannot explain how horrible that moment was. As an adult now fully able to comprehend the emotional magnitude of it all it&apos;s ... awful. I don&apos;t even know what to say. Just terrible what happened to him, and to see Vince McMahon reject all responsibility for it and verbally abuse the man&apos;s wife like that is disgusting.

  At about <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfxJYFuUXDo&amp;t=4110">1:08:30</a> or so, you mentioned Lex Luger in the short list of a heartbreaking amount of premature wrestler deaths; Luger is still alive, for the record. His body broke down and he has to use a wheelchair more often than not nowadays, but he&apos;s still alive

  some fans are going to hate me for saying this, but seeing the discourse around vince in many (not all) wrestling circles exemplifies one of the reasons it can be so alienating to be a female wrestling fan. the amount of victim blaming and brazen misogyny i&apos;ve seen in forums and comment sections regarding allegations made against him is sickening. reading the janel grant lawsuit is nothing short of harrowing and even if you don&apos;t believe the allegations of extreme sexual violence, i truly don&apos;t know how anyone could defend this creature after reading some of the texts he sent her.

  There&apos;s also the fact that when Vince bought the company from his dad, his dad told him to keep his hands out of the cookie jar of other promoters. He immediately started doing exactly that.

  Vince McMahon has a rather extensive track record of humiliating wrestlers for his own sadistic amusement. Sometimes over personal slights (be they real or perceived), most of the time just.. <i>because.</i>
