  What this video does wonderfully is present a balanced view. Never does it feel like you're purely lambasting the game or on the contrary, praising it obsequiously, framing it instead for what it is, a flawed achievement as you say. Excellent work!

  Dude I'm still so mad when I bought this game without reading any reviews and 30 hours in it slowly dawned on me that this wasn't the entire game.... where upon I looked it up and discovered my fears were correct.

  I’m really glad to have stumbled upon your stuff - you have a VERY comprehensive approach when it comes to game design and gaming history. I’d like to see you expand upon your narratological points as you did in this particular critique, especially when it comes to the meta-narrative regarding the stories of the devs. I’d also like to see more of your candor - if you’re going to share hours of analysis it’d help to see more of your personality, which I find pretty damn charming. <3 Overall I hope you get the support you need to grow as a content creator - you’ve earned it!

  I’m more interested in hearing the Metroid/Kingdom Hearts explanation for how the party loses each of their 50 levels in the next part.<br><br>Like, they just beat Sephiroth and the the Avatar of Destiny. How is literally anything else supposed to be taken seriously as a threat now?<br>Midgar Zolum?<br>Demon Wall?<br>Hojo?<br>Uh... literally any random encounter?<br><br><br>It’s like there isn’t any agency to the fights anymore now that the big bad and the god-monster are beaten so early.

  Great video BUT. What actually happens in Train Graveyard is Aerith being left alone because Eligor spirited away the kids she was playing with. And there is one good section of crane hands is Cloud and Aeroth dialogue. Eligor and T.Graveyard have much more narrative importance. Check Sleepezi&apos;s 5 videos. (FFPeasant did one good one too) It&apos;ll blow your mind when it comes to story. Especially the attention to detail with story and references. Remake is a sequel to the OG game and Remake means Sephiroth remaking the timeline. You&apos;ll understand much more about Whispers, Rufus &amp; ending after watching Sleepezi&apos;s amazing 5 videos. Ending was wrotten by Nojima, not Nomura. Nomira wanted to change little as per interviews. Whisper Harbinger represents Jenova and 3 Whispers it spawns is Loz, Yazoo &amp; Kadaj. About combat. It&apos;s some of the best, most fun &amp; engaging I&apos;ve seen in years. Only problem is air combat. Kinda wish you talked about OST, since many are talkimg about it being the OST of the decade and I would agree. Also Jenova fight was my favorite fight in the game along with the Airbuster. lol
