SANAT, HİKÂYELER ve ANILARLA dolu 1950'lerden bir EV

Today I'm visiting the home of writer Christina Autran in Rio de Janeiro's Alto da Boa Vista district. It's a very special home, filled with art, stories, memories, and personality. Built in the 1950s, Christina bought the house in 1998 and has had almost no structural changes. Over time, every corner of the house has come to reflect the perspective of someone who has lived her whole life immersed in art, decoration, and diverse cultures. Christina ran a decoration shop called Múltipla in Brasília for 22 years. This accumulation is evident throughout the house: family furniture, pieces found at antique markets and shops, artwork, objects brought back from travels, and memories of a life spent in cities like Brasília, London, New York, and Lisbon. During the tour, we encounter pieces from Portugal, Uruguay, China, Peru, and Russia, as well as works gifted by artists and friends. Each room tells a new story. From the living rooms to the warm and inviting kitchen, and to Christina's study where she writes her poetry books, every corner of the house holds a different memory. The decor combines colors, patterns, wicker, bamboo, antiques, simple furniture, and pieces from different eras without strict rules. As Christina said during our visit, if something is beautiful and you love it, it can harmonize with other pieces. We also tour the bedrooms, the garden, the library, and the more personal areas of the house. Everywhere we are greeted by books, artwork, photographs, and family memories. This episode shows not just a beautiful house, but a real living space shaped over a lifetime. Watch the video to the end and tell us in the comments: What detail in Christina Autran's home caught your attention the most?
