I removed my 100 $ canister which was advised by a mutt, now I use 2 small sponge aerated filters cost just 10 $ and they work amazing

I started with 5 cherry shrimp and now have over 100. The tank is heavily planted plus plenty of roots from houseplants planted along the edge. The tiniest shrimplets move freely around and do not hide. I only add water due to evaporation. I love the tank though it isn’t Chrystal clear. However, I would like to have it a bit clearer to see the babies. What would help? Btw, I use Indian Almond leaves, grind my own blend of food inc. calcium, blanch cauliflower and broccoli, etc. I do have a hang off the back filter with plenty of bacteria-filled filter medium.

My shrimp even eat up their own poop, I had almost 1 SQ ft of hair alagie in my 1 month cycled tank, within 3 days of introducing my (undisclosed) number of shrimp, not an inch of alagie remains ❤

Followed your advice from last week and got some nettle from the garden, they absolutely loved it. Definitely felt like they were missing something from their diet

I bought a Dennerle Nano Corner Filter 40 with the baby protector module :D I have a Dennerle Nano Cube 30 L (30x30x35cm) only with live plants. The base is already good, but while the cycling is still on, I'm building the tank up with more plants, even added an oxydator mini :D
