Not so fun fact: the zealot elite team you got attacked by at the beginning of the game actually has a name, The Devoted Sentries, and they were the team that hunted you down the entire game. The zealots killed both Six and Emile, and their leader shot Kat. You later kill the leader before getting on the gun where Emile died.

CONGRATS ON BEATING REACH AND THE BUNGIE ERA MOCHA! It was awesome seeing you play through my favorite out of the Bungie games.

If you do decide to play through 4-Infinite, I will always say this:
HALO 4 is kind of a mixed bag. The story gives a pretty interesting look into Chief and Cortana’s relationship, however everything else is kind of meh. The gameplay is weird as it took heavy inspiration from Call of Duty, which was big at the time. As for the art style of the game, it takes a DRASTIC change from the OG, and personally I’m not fan.

As for HALO 5, like everyone else is saying, it’s really bad. Like hilariously bad. The story is really bonkers, going for more of a sci-fi fantasy and kinda just leaves you questioning why the story is going in the direction it’s going. The gameplay feels nothing like standard HALO, it gets to a point where you feel like HALO 5 is completely different game. If you do play it, it’s probably best to just play to laugh at the story.

As for HALO Infinite, the best way I can describe it is that it’s good. Period. While not as bad as 5 and not meh like 4, it doesn’t do anything amazing as CE-Reach. The gameplay and art style is really good, and probably the closest we’ll get to a HALO game that naturally evolved from the Bungie era. The story is good, but doesn’t really do anything special, as it was meant to be a kicking off point and a soft reboot considering the direction 4 and 5 was going. This makes you wanting more from what the story is trying to tell. If anything, this is the best out of 343 (Now renamed to Halo Studios) games. Ultimately, while a return to form, Infinite isn’t as amazing as the Bungie games. (I still love it tho. Not only was it the first Halo game where I fully played the campaign and multiplayer, the art style and gameplay is what really does it for me, even with Infinite’s flaws)

Ultimately, I glad you enjoyed your time with Bungie HALO, and if you do proceed with the rest of the games, I hope my short explanation of each gave you a heads up and context if you play it!
