  Fascinating that Savino was willing to testify against Gigante in spite of his impending death. Be interesting to know what incentives he had, since the threat of prison would have been meaningless to a dying man.

  Had Gigante listened to Vic Amuso about Savino being a rat,he wouldve died in his bed.He refused to believe that Savino was a rat,despite Vic Amuso,and Gaspipe assuring him of this.The Mafia Cops,Eppilito and Carracappa told Vic and Gaspipe that Savino was a rat,butb Gigante didnt believe it,he loved Savino.

  Anyone who thinks they know the Mafia well, but hasn&apos;t read &quot;All American Mafioso&quot; (The Johnny Roselli Story) doesn&apos;t know the man who was way more interesting than many of the bosses. Ther book by Charles Rappleye and Ed Becker is a masterful study of this life, his times and crimes. Roselli had a charm and class that almost all the other Mafiosi totally lacked.
