  Euphoria is actually unironically a really good visual novel if you can handle the disturbing and gruesome sexual content (which does actually serve a purpose to the narrative, most of the time). The VN carries this creepy and foreboding atmosphere that&apos;s missing from the anime, and it manages to feel way more authentically scary. The &quot;character select screen&quot; for example, is chilling and makes you feel like an absolute monster. Most surprisingly the VN is actually a really beautiful and heart wrenching love story. The Anime completely butchers everything, to the point it&apos;s practically a different story.

  Euphoria has the best plot twist ever. That VN went from oh shit this is insane to holy shit this is cute. Super unexpected and there is a reason why it has so many brutal Scenes. Is All part of that plot twist building

  I started playing VN after this conversation. I always heard that people who played preised the story so when Joey, who played it, said the story didn&apos;t make sense in VN too I got suspicious and curious so I started reading. Still not done but so far everything makes sense, it&apos;s crazy, but it makes sense.
