Videos didn't go 'viral' on MTV, they were played in heavy rotation.

I believe everything Karen Mulder said. I worked in Paris as a model during the 80's and know someone who was also SA by one of the people Mulder said assaulted her. Those of us who were there know her claims are credible.

There's no such thing as perfection. Let's start there. Thankfully, Linda isn't hiding anymore. She's living out loud, as she should.

What a horrible narcissistic industry.

I remember Linda's countless hair colors in the 90s! She is still gorgeous to this day.

The irony of it all was “the president” was doing more ❄️ than the models 🤦🏼♀️

Naomi is still modeling today. Booking runways, editorials, and campaigns. GOAT.

My older sister was a model. I would join her on photo shoots after school in my uniform. A photograper wanted to photograph me...l said no. He then said to me in anger...but you need to loose 20lbs. My sister let him have it.." she is only 14. I was very slim and not overweight. I hated that world...all the models never eat, just smoked and drank water.

Linda never had a nose job. She was told not to ever get one or it would ruin the total harmony of her face that already made her millions. Despite how unconventional her shovel-shaped nose is in the beauty industry, it goes very well with her overall face. She has a Roman nose. Also, she is no longer a recluse. She came out with her truth, and fully owns her vanity.

Maybe its time for a part 2 of this series: My friends and I were at the Elite Model Look show 1995 we were not models we were a young rock band of males ages 17 -21. We were at the New York Hilton for two weeks. There were ZERO PARENTS, NO CHAPERONS and NO SECURITY. We were able to drink as the wet bars were stocked and run all over we even went to webster hall and other places we convinced shuttle drivers to take us. As a parent now looking back it's INSANE. the girls were a different breed. They were so beautiful but they were very immature, wild and innocent. Many of them have serious problems back home and some did not want to go back home. We even took one girl with us to our vegas show were we got in trouble for helping her run away. To be honest it was so hard to believe these girls didn't have perfect lives. and No, for the entire two weeks with everyone crashing in our rooms we NEVER saw any businessmen or executives and we didnt have access to the event areas etc. I kinda want to share our story and help people understand the mindset of these young girls and why they were prime for exploitation. The trouble of beauty is diabolical and people STILL don't understand.

May I just say: it has never been as celebrated as it was in the’90s, but modeling and especially THE MODELS, have ALWAYS attracted much attention and interest in our society. From magazine covers to rock stars and billionaire boyfriends, from the 70s through to today. There were always “ The Top Girls” who became stars.
