Nintendo Selects are genuinely insanely good. Pretty much all must haves plus the packaging actually looks special instead of like a tumor

As far as re-release packaging goes, I actually really love the look of Nintendo Selects. That gold ribbon coming off the top and the deep velvet red looks so classy, and it looks like the cover art of the game is framed like it's hanging in a museum. Despite being "budget" re-releases it still felt PREMIUM. Wish they brought it back for Switch.

I miss Selects, I should not have to pay $59.99 for a new copy of Super Mario Odyssey in 2023.

Nintendo really needs to bring this back for the switch so 6 year old games like Breath of the Wild and Mario odyssey aren’t still 60 dollars

during the wii and 3ds era, i basically lived off nintendo selects. the fact that i could buy a link between worlds or ocarina of time 3d for £15 or super smash bros brawl or wii sports resort for £20 was a major win as a kid

I always picture Scott laying on his stomach on the floor to record these but I just now considered the possibility that he has a carpeted table

I find it funny that Players Choice and Nintendo Selects have completely different meanings

I understand that LESS work goes into these than main channel, but it's almost as entertaining. Thanks for the consistent content Scott

If Scott keeps this up he has to talk about the L button

2:50 Also consider that some people's copies might have broken. Because it was in a sleeve it was a lot harder to take care of.

Odyssey, Splatoon, MK8, and BotW never dropping to $29.99 or less is a tragedy.
Even digital only

It's been great to have a couple of these every other week. I almost feel spoiled
