I think Amir is a good example of a man-child. I like how this story acknowledges the issues that ADHD kids face in schools. In real life, Amir would probably be better off in an adult community education program. Even if he didn’t pass the fifth grade, he is a fully grown adult man and there will be safety issues for both him and the children. I think it was inappropriate for the teacher to consider dating Amir. <br><br>Liked the references to Pokémon and Marvel. At least he had help in the form of his cousin who found out a way he could learn.
