  Mystique could have carried a spy-thriller and it would have been funny to have a movie where the lead actor keeps changing.

  I don&apos;t understand why the studio didn&apos;t take advantage of the fact that Kurt Wagner was Mystique&apos;s son and Professor Xavier&apos;s nephew in the films (not the comics but in the film canon). Especially that version of Professor X, who is going around taking in baby mutants! He would have been over the moon that he was an uncle!

  As someone who has Rogue and Nightcrawler as my favorite X-men (with Kurt being also my favorite super hero) it always bother me how the films never explore their relationship with Mystique, with her having a complex relationship with her kids, which can result in some dramatic moments, but also some fun and touching ones &nbsp;as well. <br>One my favorite exemples is &nbsp;Uncanny X-men nº177 and 178, in which Mystique finds out that Rogue join the X-men and, beliving she was kidnap by them, leads the brotherhood against the heroes. While the group fought each other, the battle came to end when Rogue explained herself to Mystique. She didn&apos;t approve her daughter decision, but &nbsp;respect her choice.

  Having Azazel, Mystique, and Nightcrawler right there and never having them explicitly related is a sin. Even in X2.

  I just assumed Fox Mystique is nobody&apos;s mother. They didn&apos;t have time to develop every relationship and probably didn&apos;t expect the movies to become a 20-year franchise.

  It’s funny because Jennifer would’ve 100% preferred to be more like the comic mystique since she’d overall be a much smaller character. She might’ve actually had fun with it, if they didn’t just make her play Katniss again but blue.

  I liked Mystique in most of the movies, but making her Xavier&apos;s sister in First Class felt forced in (they had little to no scenes together in the previous movies), and by the time Apocalypse came out it was obvious J-Law didn&apos;t want to be there anymore and just phoned in her performance.
