Hi everyone! This post comes with an exciting announcement for you all. Here in Minisodes HQ I have been quietly plotting to dedicate more time and energy into the channel, giving you more Minisodes and finding more ways to share with you my love of the golden age of Warhammer.

As of today, for the cost of a White Dwarf magazine circa 1997, you can access my new Patreon. I already have a podcast up for your listening pleasure, in which I (amongst other things) give you the inside scoop on the channel, future plans and a commentary on one of my favourite bits of 40k short fiction.

This Patreon is very much inspired by this wonderful community and I can't wait to start engaging with patrons and hearing all about what you'd love to see from the channel (as well as having a good chinwag about all things 2nd Edition). Hope to see you over there.

https://www.patreon.com/Minisodes

Man 2nd edition was such a vibrant game.

The models really felt like they were battling each other.

And the rules just naturally created such epic and heroic events. Case in point the orc wartrakk imolatimg the devastators and the marine scout defending the landing pad against a wave of orks scaling up it!

This is a Masterclass of how a Battle Report should be!
As a lifelong fan (and player) of 40K 2nd Ed.This is exactly what it should be, the videogame shots, the Battle of Armaggeddon board game shot, and the classic minis. Great production value! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

10:29 Imagine being those 2 orcs on the buggy. A fucking Landraider charges through a wall, crashes you buggy into a wall and then point blank shoots twin bolters into the open buggy, AND YET YOU DONT GET HIT.
"WHAT THE ZOG ! HOW WE NOT DED ?!?!?!"

I absolutely love this format! The shorter, engaging style that has narrative flare is perfect. It’s a shame other battle report channels don’t do it like this. Solid stuff!!

Loved this! The death of the buggy and the rest of the devastators was epic! Games like this remind me why I love second edition so much!

I hope that scout got immediately promoted to full space marine status after that performance!
