  As a German, I obviously didn&apos;t laugh at anything, but I think it was a decent show. I have seen worse.<br>(Translation: I rolled on the floor laughing and it was fucking awesome).

  My parents were German American and we did not hug or kiss or say I love you BUT they were always there for me and made sure I had what I needed. They were stable. My mom tutored me in reading and my dad tutored me in math - he was an engineer - so German. &nbsp;Also they never ridiculed me or my brothers. &nbsp; I think my mom showed love by feeding.

  As an American with a German mother, I’ve always thought that Dutch sounds like someone having a stroke while trying to speak German.

  My daughter tried to talk to me in Polish (I’m second generation) but started to laugh and couldn’t speak it correctly. I told her Polish people never laugh hence you can’t speak Polish while laughing which only caused her to laugh more. I just told her she was proving my point. Then I asked has she ever seen her grandmother laugh? No, point, set, match!
