  Awesome guide thanks for posting. Removing the clamps holding the heat sink was the mos difficult. The plastic shell was delicate some parts chip away as I was removing it. I guess because of age.<br><br>Really appreciate the take apart and put back together. Most videos would end it after the break down and just say “ just do it in reverse “ then video end lol😆

  Amazing video my man, I watched this a few times over to help tear down my old fat 360 from 2007 (which got refurbished in 2009 due to RRoD). I got lucky and the refurb has the revised Y-1 GPU, so I want to preserve this console since it has the much more reliable GPU despite being an older zephyr motherboard. <br><br>I cleaned the old paste off, reapplied new thermal paste, cleaned all the dust out, replaced the fan, and cleaned the dust out of the disc drive as well. <br><br>10/10 video, ty.

  Awesome guide! Helped me finish my 10+ hour journey in attempting to fix my grandmas xbox dvd drive and give it a good clean+ new thermal paste.

  I have the Xbox 360 since Christmas 2006 and got it fixed in Summer 2008. My console has a loud fan so this means it&apos;s time for me to clean out my Xbox 360 when I move back to my old hometown. Watching this video will help me do all this. After I&apos;m done with it, I&apos;ll have to clean out my other consoles and my DELL Latitude E6430 due to some dust inside.
