When we encounter the situation of not having a plug by the bed, we just use our battery backup chargers to charge our phones overnight and that way we can keep them by us and then charge the backup chargers in the morning. That works perfectly.

I saw in another video that you can remove the black cover at the bottom of the bed lights to reveal USB ports.
