Since you haven't played Mario Party DS, I thought I'd say it's surprisingly solid and worthy of being in the "good Mario Party game" pile. It's a standard Mario Party game similar to 6-8, with the usual item system and the boards being mostly traditional, but the minigames are quite good. The fact that you can get a full multiplayer experience with a single cart is great, especially since literally everyone has a DS or 3DS.

This video's timing is perfect because Pokemon sword and shield are coming out and your message about how stagnate the mario party series has been is similar to to how people feel about pokemon.

Mario party always ends friendships. I've lost countless friends because of it

I want you to know that you consistently having that A Link to the Past Guard Battle theme as your "pissed off" music is well appreciated. Gets me every time
