  The knot is called the Pitzen or 16/20.  See Shaw Grigsby’s video on tying the double Pitzen.  The knot is also called the Jimmy Houston.  It is a great knot even tied single.  I use it for fly fishing and light tippet.

  I remember when I was about 18 a guy was fishing with a black Slider worm on a Mr.Twister Keeper Hook and was slaying bass, then I seen a guy catching bass on a Shakey head and I had him show me how to use it and the same with the guy using the Slider worm and that was when I started taking fishing artificial lures seriously and went all in.

  Great video and the most informative info on shaky head fishing I’ve seen. I was just starting to try and experiment with shaky head fishing and I was already making major mistakes according to your experience and expertise. Thanks for sharing so much valuable knowledge!

  A shakey is my go to that I have tied on one of my rods 90% of the time. My favorite shakey head is the buckeye spot remover screw on. I use Zoom finesse or trick worms and I catch alot of my bass on it in my river. My go to colors are green pumpkin or black but I have a whole bunch of colors I'll try if those dont work. Honorable mentions are grape, black/red flake and candybug (bps version).

  You know what’s crazy is I’ve had zoom trick worms in my bag for years never used em . You know how much money I spent all year and had the best thing ever in my bag the whole time and just didnt know about this technique. I’ve done quite well with it too . Me not knowing exactly how to fish it went fishing it like I do my jigs around cover of all types and I was smashing em it’s a blast . If I was gonna spend a lot of money on a set up this would be what I’d spend it on for sure . I can get by with the lower end rods on everything else but this I really want the best feel and power at the same time this g technique you really need a good rod especially running that light weight
