Once I realized that a Protestant can't answer the following question: if two people read a verse or passage or chapter of the Bible and come to two different conclusions, who is correct, I knew I was cooked and Protestantism was cooked. I left and joined holy Orthodoxy.

It’s just a fee for people doing the baptism parties, or wanting to have a baptism on an irregular day or something. It’s to cover expenses, not selling the sacrament. <br><br>Cleave also found lots of examples of Protestants charging people for all kinds of similar things, some much more expensive. This was such a silly and dishonest attack from the guy who started it.

For me and my wife’s baptism, a friend gave a generous donation to the choir ministry and we gave money to the chanters because they aren’t on staff receiving pay. I don’t think a Protestant pastor would even do a wedding or funeral for free and nobody should expect that. The criticism is unfounded and biased.

I look forward to see what type of ahistoric insanity is going to sprout from the baptist/nondenom world due to having to confront Holy Orthodoxy. Last time that sphere of sects had to confront apostolic succession they cooked up the absolute insanity of "Trail of Blood."

Hey my priest went there too! idk if it was at the same time, but he went there! I ordered a book on the history of the liturgy in Russia (Ukranian Orthodox parish) and I can't wait to learn more and more!
