Great job Jordan getting this video uploaded. Most people don't realize how much work is involved.

As a retired science and sometimes math teacher it warms my heart to see you using math in real life!

The broken sledgehammer handle isn't a big issue and you don't need to buy a new hammer. The old head is a far better quality than most new sledgehammers. All you need to do is buy a good quality handle, shape and fit into the old head. Then, insert the metal or even timber wedges. Also, add linseed oil to the finished handle to assist with maintenance of the handle. As I'm a retired land surveyor in Australia and diyer completing all types of construction, all my tools with broken handles have been repaired this way.

You mentioned financial construction deadline to complete a task. Some time could you do a detail vlog on how construction financing is done including if you have to meet set construction deadlines.

When we built, our builder insulated the ceiling of the porch and it helps tremendously with the temp during the summer

One thing I like about Paul, is he never says "Meh, that'll work". He always takes the time to make sure. Like at 5:00 he could've looked at that gap and with his experience judged there was enough room, but no, he actually measured. And again at 5:45, I'll bet he made you guys check all the sheathing to make sure everywhere was nailed, didn't he? 😁
