Why People HATE Bike Riders

I have chipped curbs from doing nosepicks on my skateboard.  I ride both bikes and skateboards, I'm in my 50s and what I've learned is going to a skatepark to ride BMX is best when not many people are there. Park etiquette matters because I've had people drop in on me while riding a bowl simply because they didn't see me in the bowl. Always good to watch what is going on when going to a park, look where the many flow is and respect goes a long way as for being excepted at the park

from personal experience doing both bmx and skating, I probably uncommonly found skating to be way easier to do tricks on than bmx. I recently just learned how to ollie after a month of skating and I still can't bunny hop on my bike after having it for about 5 months.

I grew up in a family that had my older brother and cousins go to the skate park on bikes and I’ve heard them say stuff before like “the skate park if fun but there’s a bunch of skaters, I mean yeah it called a skate park so I guess were kinda in the wrong” which now that im getting into skating with a few of my cousins and family members means that we understand both sides. Both are expensive sports that do take time to learn that are very similar, I wear a similar style almost identical to the style of clothes that my brother wear and he rides biked and I skate. So I get both sides and he has good skate park etiquete and is even kind to skaters in our city, we grew up in a tourist city with only 2 skate parks so when a skater or biker is riding or doing a trick at the park we usually are very kind to each others culture.

I feel like the difference in between bmx riders and skateboarders is smaller than in beetween bmxers and mtbers

on the pegs there are plastic nylon covering the metal to keep the bikes from damaging the parks also BMX bikes are around 10-15lbs at most
