The Gospel of the Beloved Companion, published in 2010, purports to be a translation from a complete gospel held by followers of Mary Magdalen in the South of France. It is scholarly and interesting and inspiring.

I first read The Gospel of Mary Magdalene back in 1991. It has been in translated and published for a long time and it hasn’t become common knowledge in exoteric christianity. It’s such a wonderful read esp the translation and commentary by Jean Leloup.

The camera shot here being focused on the guest (Pagels) is far superior to other shows, with the close up of the host. This is a much more enjoyable and pleasant viewing!

Not just in Gospel of Mary Magdalene but also read Gospel of Phillip and Gospel of Thomas. All translated by Jean-Yves Leloup. Well worth the effort.
