I've seen Capa open with e4, also. And my understanding is he never studied chess openings, whereas his opponents all had various openings memorized. And, of course, Capa vanquished them all. lol<br><br>Thank you! Learning some great strategy!

Thank you. I just became a member. I'm a 68 retired Ironworker out of Seattle. I enjoy the channel very much. I'm playing against the computer, and it doesn't make a hole lot of errors.

I have always wanted to learn not just to play chess but to understand strategy and really understand the moves. You really explain the “why” or “why not” to make certain chess moves. That is what I want to learn and understand. Not just move pieces around. The cerebral part of chess is what I love the most. It is a challenge that I am going try to master everyday. Keep the videos coming.
