Lot of hyperbole nonsense. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD43YP5UyCk&t=1122">18:42</a> Carbon composite can corrode with dampness affecting bonding resin and salty sea spray near coastlines more so, and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bD43YP5UyCk&t=1131">18:51</a> it certainly can have issues with repeated load & unload cycles - as per OceanGate’s Titan submersible implosion. Metal panels can be dented by bird strike or accidental collisions with gate bridges and then be patched or removed & replaced, but large structure carbon-fibre composites might need rebuilding most of the plane. Lack of large tail might improve sideways yaw stability against wind shear, but what of vertical microbursts affecting vertical movement?
