  🙃🥴The irony of this video is that you need advanced power tools, like a table saw, to create a jig for making straight cuts with a jigsaw. However, if beginners had access to those advanced tools, they would likely choose to use them instead of a jigsaw for this specific task.

  Crap! It seems that I need to buy a table saw in order to make a jury rigging of my jigsaw in order to not having to buy a table say... 🤣

  There's nothing better than watching someone make a straight cut with a jigsaw by making a jig using tools designed for cutting straight edges...

  If you use templates this works with almost every shape, including guitars. This is actually a very common and straightforward method. But if you want something straight, a chisel or a plane would also do a fine job, just takes more skill and time.

  Neat idea! Thought about the same thing a few days ago, as whenever i cut, i have to work out the inconsistencies later, getting tired of it, wasting time.

  Wouldn&apos;t it be easier to just clamp a straight edge to the workpiece and use that as a guide? &nbsp;The method in the video essentially does the same thing, but with the added step of screwing a piece of wood to the jigsaw.
