really enjoyed this vid . i quit fishing a few years ago, but i was at least as nuts as you are ) but travelling on your own all the way to the alps in the cold , takes utter dedication. It also displays the phase in your phishing , where the hunt and the thrive still dominate . I guess i just burned myself fishing like a nutter 6 nights a week for over 15y ... from a little lake angler , to full sponsored . i did enjoy my time , with fish up to 87lbs but i don't see myself find the energy and dedication again to spend endless time at the bank . keep em coming ; ps : that alpcommon ... whoaaa lovely fish that !

Oh shite!!! That really sucks, van decide to suck its oil into the turbo and over run! It’s not your fault that van killed itself. Only thing I will say you ever get that happen again stuff your jumper in the air intake. Just pull the plastic intake off and stuff it in the pipe!!!! Shuts it down because no air, no run!

And yeah thought it would be a new engine sadly! Atleast you got her running again! And good you did the turbo and injectors on the replacement no point spending all that dollar to fit an engine with defective or wearing parts.

But some absolutely amazing carp there!!! Love your videos, seeing the European carp and lakes just love it!!! 👌👌👌👌

Could you please share the mileage of the previous engine and whether there were any strange noises that might indicate a broken turbo?

Thanks in addvance and good luck with the new engine!

 Great video and fantastic fish.
But why does know body no to block the air filter on a runaway. You’d of just needed a turbo.
