  Hi nuclear engineer here, let me fix Reggie’s reactor metaphor. When Reggie gives the babies alcohol he makes them sub critical. Initially after the large amount of negative reactivity introduced by the alcohol the babies soon become critical within about a day. After this initial day the babies become ever so slightly super critical with a relatively small start up rate. Once the babies hit day 6 they are extremely super critical and if Reggie doesn’t do something fast he will have a baby accident. This is where the critical heat flux of the babies internals get so hot it’s capable of atomizing water. This results in a large concentration of oxygen and hydrogen in the babies bodies. At day 9 the babies have a start up rate so high and such high positive reactivity they go prompt critical. What this does is cause them to create enough energy to rapidly heat up to the point of baby vessel failure. This pressure transient will cause surrounding babies to explode due to immediate baby vessel failure and large concentrations of hydrogen. Look up Fukushima Japan to find out more on this process.

  The average beer bottle holds 355 mL of Beer and its considered that most beers have a 5% content of alcohol, which means they have arround 17,75 mL worth of pure alcohol. Which by the way, assuming its ethanol, it weights arround 13.9 grams.<br><br>A baby born full term tends to have 75 mL of Blood per Kg. So taking that babies weight arround 3400 grams in average, we can assume that the average infant has 255 mL of blood.<br><br>So, when a baby tak-, I mean, its <b>Surgically administered a beer</b> then 7,8% of their blood stream is made up of alcohol (More or less) and has 13,9 grams of alcohol per 0,25 L of blood or 55.6 grams per Litre of blood.<br><br>In my country (Spain) the alcohol limit for driving is 0.5 grams of alcohol per litre, which means one of those babies passes the limit by 111.2 times.<br><br>A concentration arround 0,31% to 0,45% of alcohol in blood is considered &quot;Life Threatening&quot; so... Yeah. Those babies should have died 19.5 times with each dose.<br><br>No fucking wonder they explode
