  I just watched the old version. Great timing for a refresher for Spring Boot 3. It would be nice to cover OAuth2 with identity providers like Okta, Auth0 or AWS coginitio.

  Useful stuff, but the video lagged behind the audio for the entire &quot;Implement JWT authentication filter&quot; chapter.<br>I wasn&apos;t able to follow this most crucial part, which kind of killed the fun.<br><br>Notes for fellow viewers:<br>1. You might get warnings from the IDE saying &quot;Method annotated with @Bean is called directly. Use dependency injection instead.&quot;<br>Annotating the SecurityConfig class with @Configuration will resolve the issue.<br><br>2. I used Spring Boot 3.0.0 (which was available when this video was premiered), and had to make several changes in the securityFilterChain. <br>- authorizeRequests method is deprecated, you should use authorizeHttpRequests instead<br>- antMatchers method has been removed, so I used securityMatcher method. BUT with securityMatcher you specify which path patterns you want to INCLUDE for &quot;authentication&quot;; which is the opposite of antMatcher( ).permitAll( ) approach.<br>In my code I set up everything under &quot;/api/**&quot; to be authenticated, and moved the AuthenticationController outside of it.<br>This way I can access the &quot;/authenticate&quot; endpoint to obtain the JWT token, and then use the token to access endpoints under &quot;/api/v1/...&quot;.

Apart from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9O9NI-RJ3o&amp;t=1860">31:00</a> and <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9O9NI-RJ3o&amp;t=2700">45:00</a> time interval, all other explanation was very good. Keep on going !!! Your videos are really helpful and always up-to-date.

  What a tutorial! I used Spring boot 3 and found myself having to replace the deprecated APIs. What a lesson that was 😄. Figured out some stuff along the way. Thank you @Amigoscode and @BoualiAli for the good work.

  A decent effort. I usually like your teaching since that is very clear and you feel like you understand why the code is written the way it is. But it didn’t feel the same in this video. It looked more like he was explaining his thought process while writing a code rather than teaching. So, I feel I know what is written but not why. Truly speaking I might have to watch some other video to understand it better<br><br>But a big shout out to your channel. All the other videos which you had done yourself are really good and very helpful. Thank you for all that you are doing

  thanks, finally a tutorial that describes how to add springn security to an existing project using maven. Brilliant, also the other stuff also seems brilliant, like the anotation on the controller. Your tutorial will help me plenty.

  Thank you Nelson and Bouali Ali ,what a great teacher, for putting out this content for us to learn from, i deeply appreciate this ,I also want to point out that at beginning of the implementation of jwt the video was static and not in syn with the audio ,it will be appreciated if something is done about it. Great thanks.

  Thank you for the updated video on spring security 6. Spring can be very complex at times, but reading documentation and seeing your YouTube videos helps make it clearer everyday.
