I think all judges and high-level politicians should go on shows like this and explain the philosophy behind why they do what they do. Doing interviews like this are humanizing and educational. We need to see more of this from people of all political spectrums, particularly given the polarizing era we live in, and the ease of technology for access.

I would have liked to hear a response to "how do the courts deal with a government that makes false representations in court?" There are real problems with courts giving deference to the DOJ lawyers when they are repeatedly misrepresenting the facts.

this was a refreshingly balanced and fair interview. I stopped listening to this podcast when it evolved to just ross interviewing but maybe I should give him a shot. great job for sure!!!

So beyond refreshing to see you press at the end. Any doctrinal reality should be pressed upon. Originalists can mental pretzel themselves as any more orthodox perspective can. Justice Barrett did well to dodge at times, but I deeply appreciate the push. Important questions, and I pray how this is will be used against her in sound bites doesn't deter this kind of interview from her or anyone on the Supreme Court. We can't always pitch softballs down the middle. I liked your curve balls. As always, you are balanced. Thank you.
