  Rune pages were purchasable with IP and RP but costed 6300 wich was the price of the most expensive champions at that time.

  I remember the original leashing mechanics. If you were a ranged mid laner, all you had to do was auto blue since, at the time, jungle monsters would spend several seconds trying to path to who hit them first, then finally start attacking the jungler when it hit its leach range.

  I remember that the reason why they removed the old runes was that they were so expensive, I remember playing for so long to get all of them, when I got all of them it was fun to cook but getting there was hell.

  Chemtech Drake soul was funny because old Yorick had an ult that functioned very similarly to it, so they essentially gave everyone a free Omen of Death. How this got past testing I’ll never know

  The old runes were fun because you could create really extreme rune pages. I remember going full lethality and mpen and having like 40 lethality with 1 item. Suuuuuper weak in lane though.

  I had a somewhat viral clip of me playing as Sion and I had Chemtech Dragon Soul plus Guardian Angel. I teleported to the enemy&apos;s base destroyed both of their towers solo and their nexus.<br><br>They killed me 3 times, but I just wouldn&apos;t die because I had My Original Life + Guardian Angel Life + Chemtech Dragon Soul Life + Sion Passive Life and I won the game off of that.

  The problem with the old runes pages was that it wasn’t beginner friendly. On top of having to save up for all of the champs, you also had to save up for a WIDE variety of runes. So casual players often found themselves choosing between a completed rune page with a limited champ pool OR &nbsp;wider champ pool and lack luster/no runes.

  Dodge was in the game initially because DOTA had dodge, and DOTA had dodge because it was a baked in mechanic from Warcraft

  When I was on a school team, my coach looked at my rune page and laughed his butt off. The rune page in question? All flat %CDR.

  Dear god I remember the old Chem soul/rift. The map was unplayable with how obnoxious the map became with perma camouflage and that soul…<br><br>You will NOT be missed, dear GOD!!!<br><br>EDIT: I don’t miss old rune pages, mostly because it took forever to get enough for each category, it was very costly even if it was only essence.
