So many videos show the inner lip being glued to the top of the cone. Did they do this at the factory? No. Goes under just like this shows. 👌

It is easy to change the foam one, but the rubber ones are pain in the ass to peel off.

I replaced the flange just like you did. <br>However, I carefully peeled off the thick urethane of the speaker unit that was originally attached and reused it.<br>Because the urethane in the repair kit was very thin.<br>Perhaps JBL wanted to prevent resonance by loosely floating the metal housing instead of fixing it directly to the enclosure.What do you think?
