You nailed it "decision fatigue" is a real problem. My wife and I are both on tirzepatide. And if you think you can't decide what to have for dinner, wait until neither of you are hungry but you know you should eat.

I am 12 for 12 with that list thank goodness. Have always tried to eat healthily but struggle with weight for decades. Thank you as always for taking the time to make these videos I know it is very time-consuming.

I love a lot of the items on this list. I moved to frozen berries and vegetables when I got cyclospora this summer. Plus it's inexpensive compared to fresh.

I have all these and always have a container of chopped watermelon in the fridge. A container of carrot sticks, cucumber, cherry tom😊atoes and cheddar cheese chopped into straws.

One thing I love is pre-cooked turkey breast from Costco. It’s huge. I cut it into 5 or 6 chunks and freeze them. I keep one in the fridge for a quick slice. Very versatile. I know it’s not a pantry item, but an easy freezer portion is close!

Thanks Dr. Khalid! Here are two of my go-to recipes:

My favorite breakfast is overnight oats. Put 2/3 cup oats and 2/3 cup milk in a small container with a lid, mix in 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds. Top with 1/2 cups chopped fruit, and 1/4-1/3 cup greek yogurt. I make two or three of these at a time and put them in the fridge and its so easy to just grab one in the morning without cooking anything. They provide around 34 grams of protein and 12 grams of fiber.

Another easy recipe that will last about 4 days in the fridge and provide 3-4 meals is Chick Pea Salad - chop up a bell pepper (my favorites are green and red) and 2-3 Tbs. of red onion. Add a can of drained chick peas, 3 or 4 big handfuls of cherry or grape tomatoes, and 2 Tbs. red wine vinegar, 2 Tbs. olive oil and 1 tsp. salt. Mix gently until the salt dissolves, and then mix in a 10-12 oz. drained can of tuna, salmon or chicken. This is really fast to make and provides a lot of protein and fiber. Tastes even better the 2nd day. Add some cottage cheese on the side to give even more protein.

I buy the shredded rotisserie chicken at the store then put a small amount in a bowl with a little bit of salt or dash and eat it like it is a bowl of chips, it makes a very satisfying protein snack
