  I love these movies from my childhood, they are so pure and as a kid they were at our local theater in Tecumseh, Michigan almost weekly.  I only paid a quarter for a double matinee with a cartoon, including nickle candy from the front lobby.  Those were the days...God Bless the Baby Boomers.

  my grandpa gave me this on video tape when i was visiting the talking battleships of stanky harbor. i would visit them every thursday and feed them potato chips into the tubes in their decks. anyways that day my grandpa was there making sure the uniform jackets were still sealed within their lexan prisons below deck when he tapped me on the shoulder (thankfully i wasn&apos;t using a welding torch at the time!) and handed me the tape. he told me that the 1941 Buick 4 door sedan painted in olive drab which was parked next to the building where they let people in would be mine someday. i am taking delivery of it today!

  I was something about ten years old when I first saw this on a tiny black and white TV in a massive cabinet from Rediffusion...now, watching it 55 years later I could remember a lot of the scenes but always the upsetting death of the poor monster.
