  The thing with Gerald having two sons is not an retro addition it&apos;s logical. Gerald had to have two children so that Eggman an Maria could be cousins

  Fun fact about Mighty. &nbsp;In one of the TailsTube episodes where the modern characters are remembering classic era characters, Mighty was mentioned as having a personality like Sonic, but less cocky. &nbsp;Also, it&apos;s implied that Mighty might be going his own adventures like Sonic just that we don&apos;t see it. &nbsp;So maybe Mighty and Ray are just going on their own adventures somewhere else in the Sonic world and the rest of the crew just hadn&apos;t seen them for a long time.

  That moon theory makes more sense than you would think. the moon is tidal locked with the earth, meaning that you will always have the same side of the moon face the planet. This is due to usually one side of the moon being heavier than the other, resulting in the heavier side facing the source of gravity (earth). So it wouldn&apos;t be completely unfeasible for the moon to shift what side always faces earth after the damage. Still room to argue against it, but makes more sense than you think. In fact, many moons are like that, believe it or not.

  Sonic Rivals clearly establishes Silver is meeting everyone for the first time. Rivals is Silver&apos;s reintroduction to the timeline. However, Eggman Nega is also given a new backstory in the Rivals games, too.

  Wasnt the Chaos being a mutated chao origin established YEARS before Sonic Frontiers? All Frontiers did was establish that the chao were evolved Ancients.

We always see the same side of the moon no matter what time of the day it is. So Iizuka&apos;s argument being that the moon faces the other way is technically disproven (given that the moon in Sonic&apos;s world functions fundamentally the same).

  As someone whose first Sonic game was Adventure (SADX) I personally really liked Flynn&apos;s Ancients retcon to Chaos&apos; origins because it really does enrich the mythos imo. Think about it:<br><br>- The Ancients, a close-knit society of liquid-bodied aliens reliant on the Chaos Emeralds for their survival, were drawn to Earth by the Master Emerald. We learn that the Ancients had multiple tribes (i.e. different types of genetically similar life forms originating from a common source), with the most intelligent tribe being the spacefaring Chaos 0-looking humanoids who arrived on the Starfall islands.<br>- Some of the Ancients that survived the End&apos;s onslaught evolved into Chao (others that preserved their memories on the Starfall islands in Cyberspace became the Koco)<br>- Chaos is a Chao that underwent a mutation due to exposure to the Master emerald, tapping into his dormant genes and reverting him into something akin to a humanoid Ancient. He feels an instinctive need to protect the emeralds as well as his kin (the other Chao). Chaos 0 is a stable form but his genetic makeup is already unstable, and absorbing the Chaos emeralds further mutates him into forms resembling the other Ancient tribes; eventually transforming into a terrifying monster (Perfect Chaos) that the Echidnas of the past feared as a wrathful god of destruction.<br><br>It all ties together quite well. Chaos will do anything to protect the things he cares about, whether it&apos;s the emeralds or his only family (the Chao + Tikal), even if it means counteracting a threat to their survival with something far more deadly <br><br>Whether Chaos is a god or not is a matter of perspective. He is a god to the Echidnas, but to others he is just a powerful monster or kaiju, but only few know his true ancient alien origins
