  It’s so fitting that Sophie is now Duchess of Edinburgh. She was so close to the last Duchess of Edinburgh. People have often made comment about the two women who have used Princess of Wales, forgetting that the last Duchess of Edinburgh to use the title was the Queen herself. ❤

  Can we just say that when Edward and Sophie take on what you've rudely called "humdrum" events, these things are no longer a waste of time. The two of them are very present and absolutely charming doing all this tiresome pointless stuff -- and we love them for it.

  Prince Edward married Sophie, a woman of integrity and dignified.  She wanted a family and was in love with him.  They stepped away from their independent lives and committed themselves to serving the Crown as working royales.  Edward and Sophie raised to children who are disciplined and have been recognized for their accomplishments, though both younger and vital members of the Royal Family.

  I like Prince Edward's  totality in handling himself and his being Royal. Very respectable. Royal yet he projected very humane side. Princess Sophie is the same. One can feel the power couple in them. The silent force in them is very respectablel. And their children are well raised. This family is almost perfect.i love reading about them. 🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️
