  A friend was on a flight that was the final flight before the pilot retired. &nbsp;They took off with full thrust and after landing the taxiway was lined with firetrucks spraying in high arcs over the plane as it passed by. &nbsp;The passengers were warned so we to not create a panic.

  In 1996, I had an opportunity to fly as the sole passenger on a Learjet 35. I told the pilot and FO to fly the plane as if I wasn&apos;t on board. Both grinned at me and.. yeah. 🤣

  Getting a TCAS alert from 25 000 feet below has got to be a surreal experience. That sounds like the beginning of an alien invasion disaster movie.

  French here. I took flying lessons a few years back, and my teacher had me stay just a few feet off the ground on the long runway as an exercise. At the end, he told me to pull up and the little Cessna jumped off like a rocketship, which was a lot of fun... and kind of the rewards for my focus during the difficult exercise. My teacher told me (with a big smile) how tower didn&apos;t like that and I wondered why. <br><br>I think I now have the answer to that. Thanks !

  As someone who flew on military aircraft I must admit I got a chuckle out of this. Not that a military aircraft crew would ever do such a thing. 😊

  Imagine being the pilot of the aircraft that got the TCAS warning. Looking down and half expecting a missile or a fighter jet come at you from 25000 ft below
