  The elemental monkeys always struck me as &quot;Pikachu&quot;-role pokemon.<br>In the sense that they&apos;re the rare colorful elemental encounters in the first forest that is otherwise full of generic birds and bugs.<br>Just using starter types rather than a 4th element lol

  I really doubt Kalos’ massive Pokédex while being the first 3D game is a coincidence. <br><br>Either way <b>WHY WAS THE SOLAR PANEL LIZARD NOT IN THE SOLAR PANEL DESERT??!?!</b>

  As controversial as the Galar Dex is, I feel like base game handled the distribution pretty well. You kind of have to ignore the Wild area cause that’s hard to classify as “early route” as some Pokemon in different areas are much higher level and not always accessible, etc. but every route, regardless of how small it may be, has a Galar Pokemon or form on it.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=attfTojCPvg&amp;t=140">2:20</a> While this hasn&apos;t explicitly been confirmed in the teraleak, the amount of stuff they scrapped/changed due to the backlash from BW was insane like it COMPLETELY altered the trajectory of the franchise. (and even then gen 5 was going to be a more radical reboot, like open world fully sci fi unova radical, but they scaled back for, ironically, fear of backlash)

  I feel like Phantump and Pumpkaboo were going to be version exclusives initially which is why they&apos;re both trade evolutions, but that idea was likely abandoned because of Pumpkaboo&apos;s size gimmick vs Phantump having nothing extra. They both got exclusive type changing moves as well so it seems odd to double down on Grass/Ghost in both versions.

  Tbh with Kalos’ really small new dex…I don’t think it should have Kalos mon version exclusives even if it’s only for 4 evolution lines. I get version exclusives are kind of really important to the games but the old mons can just keep that covered. With only 32 new evolution lines (excluding legendaries/mythicals), which when talking about a standard play through you can reasonably knock down to 30 by taking out the starters you didn’t pick, limiting that even more down to 28 for arbitrary exclusives just doesn’t do the small new dex any favors.

  i used to love how Pancham spawned in one specific place only, because that was an obscure easter egg that i understood as a kid (this route is roughthly the equivalent to where Beauval is, the zoo park that had received two Giant Pandas just the year prior ot XY, and the only place you could see pandas in France)<br>but it&apos;s the only pokemon where spawning in one place only make sense? i don&apos;t know how i never noticed it&apos;s the same for all Kalos pokemon it&apos;s kinda underwhelming knowing it now-

  Your idea for Trevor&apos;s challenges is honestly really elegant in its simplicity. We did get day/night spawns changing encounter tables added in gen 2 but besides that and maybe seasons in gen 5 I feel like it&apos;s a really unexplored concept that could make the games a lot more interesting
