I used to live in TX, moved to CT 8 yrs ago and like you said, it takes time to find your tribe but if you don’t prioritize friends and just focus on family/kids/health, it is much better out here, less politics etc

In NJ, you never miss India. In my kid’s class 20 out of 22 kids are Indians, especially South Indians. My kids call my town as Brown town. It doesn’t matter which state/ city you live, it’s hard to make any friendship without expectations.

I agree Sainthavis words , Vinoth bro… that most of the people won’t add new ones to their existing group …even if that person is a known person too they won’t do…due to selfishness that they want to stay on top or trust .. alienate the known people … but sometimes this helps us to learn as what sainthavi said “ love your own company” …
