La Batalla de las Termópilas (480 a.c.) - Guerras Médicas - Ep.3

Today we bring you what, thanks in large part to cinema, is perhaps the most famous battle of the classical world: the Battle of Thermopylae. The narrow pass where the 300 Spartans (and their several thousand allies) tried to halt the advance of Xerxes and his monstrous army. In this documentary, we will not only reconstruct both the battle and the pass of Thermopylae, but we will also talk about the soldiers who participated in the confrontation on both sides, and we will follow the journey of the King of Kings from Susa, in the heart of the Achaemenid Empire, to his camp facing the legendary pass.
